AFIAA Australia

AFIAA Investment Foundation was founded in 2004 and is managed by AFIAA Real Estate Investment AG which is the centre of excellence of Avadis Vorsorge AG for direct and indirect real estate investments in Switzerland and abroad. It manages real estate assets globally, totalling approximately 6.5 Billion Swiss Francs for Swiss pension funds. The company is headquartered in Zurich and has offices in New York and Sydney.

AFIAA Australia Pty Ltd was established in 2008 and completed their first acquisition in 2009 with the property U60 at 60 Union Street, Pyrmont.

The Australian portfolio includes 100% ownership of five commercial assets (offices) valued at approximately 830 million AUD. The properties are located in Sydney and Melbourne.

AFIAA Australia prioritises their relationship with their tenants, having a proactive approach with their occupants through their on ground presence and approachability. The long-term investment and provision of funding into refurbishing assets ensures their focus on creating a modern and welcoming space to satisfy the current and growing needs of tenants. This is highlighted through shared spaces including End of Trip facilities and outdoor spaces, as well as their commitment to sustainability.

Strategy AFIAA Global

The AFIAA Global investment group allows pension funds to make investments in a selected real estate portfolio outside Switzerland comprising exclusively direct investments. Their investments primarily focus on commercial real estate in the core and core plus risk categories which are located in the target market regions of Europe, the UK, North America and Australia.
